In this hilarious adventure, Dame Beatrice is given a mink stole by her maid, Lily, which she suspects was stolen. To protect Lily, Beatrice and her “middle-aged” lodgers devise a plan to return the stole without being caught. The operation is so exhilarating they decide to continue the fun by stealing furs themselves and distributing the profits to charity. All goes well until Scotland Yard calls! The laughs build as they try to scheme their way out of being discovered.

At its heart, ‘Breath of Spring’ is really a “coming of age story,” says Boyett. “Just because the age being focused on is 'the teatime of life' doesn’t mean there aren’t lessons to be learned. The most important one is that we don’t have to accept the status quo. Our willingness to engage with life, to pursue vitality, can be crucial to our happiness.”
