At its heart, ‘Breath of Spring’ is really a “coming of age story,” says Boyett. “Just because the age being focused on is 'the teatime of life' doesn’t mean there aren’t lessons to be learned. The most important one is that we don’t have to accept the status quo. Our willingness to engage with life, to pursue vitality, can be crucial to our happiness.”
